Where has the summer gone! Once again we are at back to school time and fall just around the corner! I am hoping this year will be more "normal" for all student & teachers!
I took a few day retreat to Berlin Ohio for the 1st time. It was nice to see the quilt shops, the countryside is beautiful and the lifestyle is a bit slower. I was surprised to find most businesses close by 5pm, Dollar General by 7pm, and all restaurants by 7pm. I did take some evening time to get some stitching in and began to learn to cross stitch.
Christmas Quilts
It is that time of year to begin to plan and complete quilts that will be gifted for Christmas. My goal is to have all quilts returned to you by December 15th so you have time to complete bindings. I guarantee delivery by December 15th if your quilt is in my hands by October 30th!

Just a few notes on a pieced backing
1. When a backing is pieced the seam should run across the
width of the quilt
2.The pieces joined together should be measured so each
piece is the same width. The edges should be straight.
3. Quilts up to the size of a double, 6" larger in length &
width is good. Queen size & larger quilts need at least
8" larger in length in width.
4. Measure your quilt to determine the size of backing needed.
